Learn to Cross Stitch

New and want to learn to cross stitch? Maybe you lost that stitch bug and just need some inspiration to get started again? Or you are a long time stitcher and just want a refresher on some of the basics?

This little series is great for stitchers of all levels! We go back to the basics, step by step. The goal is to get you stitching!

In this series, we will learn to cross stitch.

• Take a small pattern from a PDF in your email to a finished stitched piece ready to proudly display in your home! Yep! The little pattern is even included!
• Learn all the basic stitches needed to complete this pattern (and most others).
• Source and prepare all the supplies. We don’t provide the supplies, but help you source them all – even ways to use up your existing stash (if you have one).
• Have fun while we learn to cross stitch, or inspire that stitch bug to come back!

If you have ever joined me in anything in the past, you know I am all about just having fun. My mission is to inspire everyone I can to cross stitch, in any way! Even if it’s just one stitch a day.

If you are new, and don’t know me, you will get to know me as we go through this series! I am an open book, and if I can get you to try out this hobby my goal is achieved.

I believe this hobby is a hobby for the heart! True self care. One of the BEST ways to step back from this hectic world and just relax – you and your floss!

The first round of this “back to basics” learn to cross stitch series will start on July 16th – with emails every Wednesday and Saturday!

A Little About Me . . .

I am a cross stitch obsessed creative. I have been stitching for too many years (since high school) and truly embraced this hobby over the last 10 years to epic levels. Not only is it my true love of a hobby, I am a pattern designer, needleminder creator, and leader of our Stitchee Collective. 

My life is truly all about cross stitch, my cats, and coffee — and of course, Mr Stitchee who allows (and enables me) to embrace all these things!
