How to Make Gim Gui
You can customize these snacks when you make them by adding in some additional spices or using flavored oils. Be creative! TIP: When you open up your package of seaweed keep the little silica packages. These are used to keep the seaweed dry and fresh. When you store your home made gim gui toss in these little packets to keep it fresh.
- Sesame oil
- Canola oil
- Package of seaweed (same squared that are used for sushi)
- Measuring spoons
- Basting Brush
- Frying Pan or grill.
- Paper towel
A Few Pointers When It Comes Time To Roast
Once you have the sheets seasoned it is a fast process. If you keep the seaweed on the heat too long they burn pretty easily. Here’s a few things to keep in mind:
- Square pans or a grill work best.
- Have all your ingredients within arms reach.
